We need to learn some things about copyright images.

What is Copyright?

Copyright is when you protect your work, photographs, videos or any original material from getting used for non educational purposes. Not protecting your original work through copyright means that anyone can use your image, video, etc. without your permission. Here are some important things to know if the image you are using is protected from copyright.

  • If the image you are using has this logo ‘©’ on it, it is protected by copyright.
  • You can always contact the owner of the material if it is copyright and you want to use that material.
  • If there is a note on the bottom of the material like this👇

Here are some important things to do when you want to use copyrighted material.

  • Always mention the owners name.
  • Contact the owner for permission.
  • If you use other’s work without permission, you plagiarize.
